Duties
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of foreclosure proceedings, including document preparation, filing, and service of process.
- Review and analyze legal documents related to estate planning, UCC law, landlord-tenant law, and other relevant areas to support foreclosure actions.
- Coordinate with clients, lenders, and court officials through effective communication and professional client interaction.
- Prepare pleadings, affidavits, notices, and correspondence with precision and attention to detail.
- Support administrative functions including data entry, filing, proofreading, transcription, and maintaining organized case records.
Qualifications
- Paralegal experience with a strong background in civil litigation support and foreclosure law (2 years minimum).
- Familiarity with legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
- Knowledge of procedural law related to foreclosure proceedings and general & commercial litigation.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and internal collaboration.
- Experience handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with document review and legal drafting skills.
