Job Summary
The position serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies company personnel of visitor arrival. Contributes to team effort by assisting the various offices within the Sheriff’s Office.
Work Environment
Work is routinely performed under typical office conditions. Occasional travel by car is necessary. The noise level in the work environment is generally quiet. Work is subject to frequent fluctuations and is often performed in stressful situations.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
Professional attitude and appearance.
Ability to be resourceful and initiative-taking when issues arise.
Excellent organizational skills.
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping with various tasks as required.
Must have a valid New Mexico driver’s license or obtain a valid New Mexico driver’s license within six (6) months of employment.
May not have any DWI or DUI within the last the last five (5) current years.
Effective communication skills and be able to write clearly and informatively, listen and get clarification, respond well to questions.
Pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background investigation.
Employees must reside within Cibola County.
Must maintain confidentiality.
