To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com What you'll be doing As part of the Finance Accounting Operations team, you’ll work in a fast-paced environment where you’ll develop relationships with our internal stakeholders by providing consistent updates on transactions and findings. As an Operations Reconciliation Specialist, you will prepare and finalize various daily reconciliations to accurately state the financial statements. You will research and resolve all reconciling items in a timely manner and participate in the month-end close process. You will have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement with some days in the office and others remote. How You’ll Succeed Problem Solver – Ability to identify, investigate, analyze and resolve reconciling items, ensuring all tasks are performed per all internal controls, policies and procedures. Communication – Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, which will involve both verbal and written communication with other functional areas to discuss/clarify reconciling items and obtain additional information and/or confirm the resolution of the items. Teamwork- Prioritize, organize workload and coordinate team activities by collaborating to ensure deadlines are met. Assist with training to support peers in learning and understanding processes, procedures and guidelines. Technical - Demonstrate excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to work with Spreadsheets and formulas. Recommend process improvements. At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $65,000 - $75,000K for the St. Louis, MO market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
