What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hi-Lo Driver position at Cibao Meat Products?
Basic Function
The HiLo Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Carefully move product from the staging or storage areas into the warehouse. Slot move product as necessary and complete the paperwork and/or on a tablet to support that function. Comply with all safety, security, regulatory, and company policies.
Major Responsibilities
- Responsible for warehouse operational procedures including sorting, loading/unloading activities of product processing and documentation.
- Ensure all slots are filled with proper inventory.
- Prior to the product being stored, count all product, compare to the manifest, and check all pallets from packing department for damage and production dates
- Report shortages, overages, damage, to Inventory department
- Compare the quantify, quality, labeling and consignee address to the customer order to ensure all outgoing shipments are complete. (Burris, Costco; full pallet orders)
- Safely and efficiently operate machinery and equipment as required and assist in the unloading or loading of product moving into or out of warehouse
- Participate in the physical inventories as required
- Maintain clean, neat, and orderly work areas and operate in a manner that promotes safety
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouses
- Other duties as assigned
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organized at all times
Job Qualifications
Skills:
- Understanding of Inventory management
- Understanding of warehouse equipment, Hilo experience required
- Basic mathematic skills
- Good communication, interpersonal, and team working skills
Experience:
- 1 years of related warehouse distribution experience
- Experience working in a refrigerated/freezer environment
Education:
- High School degree, GED or equivalent related business experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
