[Job - 28690] QA Automation Senior, Brazil

At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Senior Automation to join our team in Brazil. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, innovative, transforming, and multicultural environment.

Position Overview

As a QA Senior Automation, you will own the end-to-end test strategy and execution to ensure each release meets both functional and non-functional requirements. You will lead the design and implementation of automated testing processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that align with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain test plans, traceability, and entry/exit criteria.
• Write and execute manual and automated tests (functional, regression, exploratory).
• Collaborate with teams on shared suites (API tests in Postman, automation scripts review).
• Integrate and monitor tests in CI/CD pipelines using a shift-left approach.
• Coordinate test data/environments with DevOps and manage fixtures/stubs.
• Log detailed and reproducible bug reports and assist in defect triage.
• Provide test results and release readiness reports to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Must-have Skills:

• Experience with Playwright/JavaScript automation framework.
• Familiarity with JMeter for backend automation.
• Understanding of the testing pyramid and types: Smoke, UI, API, Regression, Accessibility, etc.
• Knowledge of metrics, dashboards, and QA reporting tools.
• Familiarity with Git, SQL, Postman, and Jira/Scrum processes.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD and Continuous Validation pipelines.
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders and present to leadership.
• Strong English.

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Experience with JMeter (load/performance testing).
• Ability to configure initial automation projects.
