Summary
The Area Operations Coordinator will be the liaison between the field team and project management team for a wide range of territories and several scopes of work within the AT&T Master Agreement. This will include Field work and office work (Remotely)
Job Duties
The Field aspect of this role verifies fieldwork done by sub partners and W2's by physically driving/walking routes to validate compliance by the AT&T playbook. This individual must be familiar with all aspects of outside Telecommunications plant to include copper and fiber drops.
Familiarity with all aspects of drop bury work to include calling in locates, managing partners, communicating with customers, communicating with AT&T vendor managers, documentation of daily duties and providing real time updates to work completed via back-office software. Candidates must have knowledge of telephone industry standards and the ability to meet or exceed business unit goals while maintaining quality standards, controlling expenses, and following company and business unit directives and practices.
Excellent oral /Written Communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Communicating with internal and external crew leads and crews to ensure a solid understanding of quality and timeliness deadlines on deliverables.
- Providing and documenting best practices, training, and education to Partners, where needed, to help them better manage.
- Working on ad hoc projects and tasks as needed to ensure the smooth running of the vendor management team.
- Schedule and manage Drop Bury and Dig Bury crews to create routes by designated priority needs based on metrics.
- Develops and maintains good rapport with, Leadership, Partners, and Field Personnel specific to the AT&T agreement.
- Execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Handle all customer inquiries and issues in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with the contractors responsible for completing various phases of the AT&T Drop Bury and SVA Agreements.
- Assist all operations and customer support needs remotely using technology.
- Ensure all data fields needed are kept current and escalated if targets are missed.
- Work closely to understand data metrics related to AT&T Drop and DIG work while driving SLA performance to meet targets.
- QC and Audit Field Reports to ensure AT&T invoicing metrics are being met.

Job Responsibilities
- Be responsible for and knowledgeable in the correct, safe, and efficient locating of underground utilities including telecommunications, electric power, cable TV, gas, water and sewer systems
- Be adept at supervising and instructing technicians in thoroughly searching for underground utilities in a designated area, properly marking the location, completing the necessary paperwork, and photographing each locate
- Be comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather conditions and using a company provided laptop and/or tablet to document services and problems
- Be experienced at working directly with customers and resolving problems in a professional manner
- Be enthusiastic, self-motivated, safety conscious, and independent
