Summary/Objective
Full, efficient and effective application (painting) of sound dampening material onto chute sections and painting of floor frames. Installs baffles and sprinkler connections, when and where needed.
Essential Functions & Competencies
1. Apply sound dampening, as needed, to sections,
2. Apply paint to floor frames,
3. Clean and maintain paint gun/sprayer,
4. Ensure paint booth is clean, filter replaced, etc,
5. Daily use of hand and power tools,
6. Install/Add final completion items to chute system,
7. Repetitive work,
8. Good at following direction,
9. Dependability and consistency,
10. Good team member,
11. Physical Duties – including walking, lifting, moving, seeing, hearing
Supervisory Responsibility/Direct Reports
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a manufacturing plant environment. Noise levels can be moderate to loud. Eye, ear and foot protection is required. Temperature ranges can be a bit warmer or cooler than ‘room temperature.’
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, use fine motor skills to manipulate hand tools and small items. For safety must be able to see and hear. The employee is also frequently required to stand, walk and do some lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
As part of the manufacturing team, arriving punctually to each shift is vital. Regular work hours are 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday. Occasional overtime work and weekend work may be required as the production schedule may demand.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position, except for occasional training opportunities.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
1. Must be free of facial hair to allow for proper fitting of respirator mask while
painting.
