Job Summary:
As a Construction Loan Servicer with Churchill Stateside Group LLC, you are responsible for servicing a portfolio of construction loans, ensuring compliance with loan terms, regulations, and company policies. This Construction Servicer will administer all phases of the construction draw processes from pre-closing to conversion/permanent, involving coordinating loan disbursements, reviewing project progress, handling borrower communications, and mitigating risks associated with construction lending. The ideal candidate will have experience in loan servicing, construction lending, construction draw processing, agency guides, and financial analysis for government bodies such as HUD, USDA, GNMA, and private institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loan Servicing & Portfolio Management
- Manage the servicing of construction loans, ensuring timely funding and compliance with loan agreements.
- Monitor loan performance and proactively address potential risks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date loan records in servicing systems.
- Key contact for Borrower, loan officers, and agency.
- Manage Loan documents, benchmark deliveries, and due dates
- Construction Loan Disbursement & Monitoring
- Review pre-closing draw packages, work with Underwriters, Borrower Teams, Closers to fund the Closing Draw.
- Prepare and review monthly draw packages and manage the process in compliance with loan documents, Guides, Budgets, and timing for funding of the draw, across multiple draws.
- Compile for review draw packages, not limited to lien releases, change orders, site inspection reports, title endorsements and contractor invoices necessary for funding.
- Work with funding lenders, fiscal agents, title companies, and loan servicing to facilitate disbursements and ensure posted interest billing is accurate.
- Manage the draw schedule, timing for completion, and assess risk rating for deals assigned.
- Prepare and fund monthly mortgage payment interest draws.
- Collect completion documents and delivery as required
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and address potential issues such as cost overruns, delays, or borrower financial difficulties.
- Work with credit and risk teams to implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Act as a primary point of contact for borrowers, developers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide guidance on loan terms, disbursement processes, and compliance requirements.
- Address borrower inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Good problem solver and independent thinker, ability to research and make recommendations.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare regular reports on loan status, disbursement activity, and project progress.
- Analyze financial statements and project performance to identify potential risks.
- Assist in audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field (preferred).
- 3 years of experience as a Construction Loan Analyst.
- Strong understanding of construction deal structures, draw/disbursement processes, and compliance requirements.
- A good understanding of HUD, USDA, and GNMA regulations.
- Experience with loan servicing software and financial analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for borrower and stakeholder management.
- Work independently and manage the portfolio of construction loans assigned.
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines such as FDIC, OCC, and CFPB standards is a plus.

- Experience working with banks, credit unions, or financial institutions in construction lending.
- Familiarity with loan servicing platform Strategy, or other industry-standard software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
