Job Title: Wellness RN for Assisted Living and Memory Care Community

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Nursing Department Oversight: Lead and manage the nursing department, ensuring all programs and practices meet strict healthcare standards and regulations.
- Protocol Development and Maintenance: Create, update, and maintain nursing protocols and procedural documentation to align with best practices and regulatory requirements. Including insulin delegations.
- Represent Facility During Inspections: Serve as the facility's primary representative during government agency inspections and surveys, ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations.
- Staffing Coordination: Assess and identify staffing needs to ensure comprehensive nursing care is consistently provided to residents.
- Performance Evaluation: Lead the performance evaluation process, fostering a culture of accountability, professional growth, and high-quality care within the nursing team.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements: A Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience: Preferably at least three years of supervisory experience in an assisted living community based care facility. Preferred minimum of six months of experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
- Licensing: Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of employment.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to engage effectively with individuals at all levels, including staff, residents, family members, and government agencies, with professionalism and respect.
