POSITION: 0.5 FTE, Special Education Teacher Student Services
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and qualify for a teaching license issued by NDE.
REQUIRED LICENSE: Must possess or be able to acquire a Nevada teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education.
DEFINITION: The teacher provides instruction to students including preparation, assessment and management.
CURRENT SALARY: This position is .50 FTE and salary for this position will be pro-rated based on the amount of hours worked daily. $26,699 minimum depending on experience and education, scheduled 182 days per year, with a part-time daily schedule.
BENEFITS: Health, dental, and vision insurance is available to part-time staff at a monthly cost.Sick leave and personal leave included. Nevada has no state income tax.
