POSITION: Behavior Specialist
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and qualify for teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education.
REQUIRED LICENSE: Must possess or be able to acquire a Nevada teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education with endorsement in relevant subject area.
and/or Must possess or be able to acquire a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) with licensure in the state of Nevada.
DEFINITION: The Behavior Specialist is responsible to provide behavior analysis services and behavior management plans for special education students enrolled in educational programs.
CURRENT SALARY: $51,049 minimum - $97,806 depending on experience and education, scheduled 182 days per year an additional 25 paid days. Additional days are compensated at full daily rate in addition to the base salary amount. (*SB500 funds will be added for the 26-27 school year)
BENEFITS: Nevada PERS retirement contribution, health, dental, vision and life insurance. Sick leave and personal leave included. Nevada has no state income tax.
