Job Summary
The Catering & Café Services Coordinator works in collaboration with the Café Manager and Catering Director by assisting with café, kitchen, and catering operations, providing administrative support, and ensuring smooth day-to-day functions. As part of the Operations Team, this role collaborates with ministries delivering high-quality food and accurate, timely service. Additionally, the coordinator serves as a Café Sales Associate, maintaining excellent customer service, driving sales, and supporting merchandising efforts.

Position-Specific
- Acknowledge and track all internal catering orders. Coordinate with Café Manager to ensure all internal catering orders are acknowledged, prepared, and delivered to the church’s ministries with excellent quality and on a timely basis.
- Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages as directed by the Catering & Food Services Team Director & Café Manager.
- Monitor stock of food in the café and assist with prep as needed.
- Oversee the cleaning, organization, tagging, storage, and purchase of tablecloths.
- Set up a workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
- Establish and maintain staff, volunteer, and guest relationships.
- Model behavior with respect to excellence in customer service, housekeeping, and stock maintenance.
- Comply with regulatory requirements for appropriate sanitation and safety.
- Assist in daily coffee and food service operations; efficiently operate Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Efficiently prepare all items offered in the café while following established café procedures.
- Maintain an attractive, inviting space which encourages congregants to fellowship and purchase quality products.
- Help with periodic inventory of café & kitchen supplies as well as Year End Inventory.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Café experience recommended.
- Able to stand for up to 8 hours and regularly lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds.
- Proven Results in food preparation, price pointing products, and vendor relations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
