Job Summary
The Audio Engineer provides quality audio support, front-of-house mixing for events including worship, ministry programs and special event production. They bring expertise in live and recorded audio production and provide engineering support for worship, ministries and special event productions.

Position-Specific
Mix sound for events requiring pro-level audio support, including but not limited to, weekend worship services, weekly rehearsals, special events, mid-week events, and other event support as needed.Provide for audio needs in front-of-house, back-of-house and broadcast roles for ministry events, including weekly worship.Communicate clearly and timely with the other members of the audio team to ensure all audio support is organized and effective across the organization. Assist with the maintenance and repair of all audio equipment deployed across the campus.Assist in the development, training, and mentoring of Tech Producers, volunteer teams and team leaders to assist in the audio aspects of production.Directly manage the set up and striking of the stage including, but not limited to audio cables, wedge monitors, mic stands, music stands, direct boxes, mics, IEMs, etc. Recruit, train, mentor, and empower all audio volunteers for weekly & weekend events.Attend required staff meetings, program/planning meetings, and technical rehearsals.Other duties as assigned.Churchwide

3 years professional experience mixing front-of-house for 1,000 capacity venuesAbility to mix effectively for modern bands and traditionally styled orchestras and choirsPreferred working experience with Dante networking, Waves plug-ins, Aviom and Klang monitoring systems and RF coordinationExperience in multiple multi-tracking recording applications.Ability to assist with moderate to high levels of physical activities such as lifting/moving large equipment in excess of 30 pounds and comfortable working on catwalks at heights of 70 ft
