Job Summary:The Marketing and Sales Associate is an integral member of the team and is expected to work both independently and as a member of the team. The sales and marketing associate is responsible for marking the various aspects of the Church Of Christ Assisted Living to businesses, all levels of health healthcare providers and settings as well as private members of the community to meet and/or exceed their marketing and sales goals.
Qualifications:
· Associates degree or bachelor’s in marketing, Business Administration or related field is preferred. Prior experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
· Previous sales and/or marketing experience preferred.
· Proven technology skills
· Exemplary interpersonal skills, genuine respect for others, high level of integrity and ability to highly influence others.
· Ability to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Knowledge of persuasive and consultative selling techniques to strategically influence customers decisions.
· Ability to learn new products and offerings, and effectively present unique Benefits to Broad customer base.
· Must be able to change/adjust marketing and sales tactics and strategies to meet the needs of each prospect
· Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning.

Physical/Mental Requirements:
· Lift and carry light objects such as files, office supplies, etc. without assistance.
· Perform moderately difficult manipulative skills such as typing, computer input, calculator operation.
· Stoop, file, walk, bend, squat, stand, kneel, etc.
· Sit for prolonged periods.
· Identify residents or their families at a distance of 30 feet.
· Read the fine print on records.
· Distinguish normal sounds with some background noise as in answering the phone, intercom, etc.
· Speak clearly and make self-understood,
· Concentrate on fine detail with constant interruption to function for more than 60 minutes at a time.
· Understand and relate to specific ideas, several at a time to understand and relate to the theories behind several related concepts.
· Remember multiple tasks/assignments over a period of several days.
Environmental Conditions:
· Occasional exposure to dust, loud, or unpleasant noises, fluctuations in temperatures.
· Occasionally exposed to microbial bacteria and other infectious agents inherent to Assisted Living, health care and community environments.
· Occasional exposure to chemical compounds – medications.
· Frequently exposed to stressful situations.
Essential Job Functions:
· Promotes the mission and values of the Church of Christ Community.
· Interact with prospects through a variety of sales activities that include daily phone sales, face-to-face sales, and group sales and tours.
· Influence prospects for strategic messages, tactics, talking points events, etc.
· Develop and sustain customer relationships with results and revenue generation.
· Conducted extensive follow-up, follow-through activities, and retention programs.
· Conduct phone sales that increase the quality and quantity of appointments attended by perspective residence.
· Manage the pre-residency interview/assessment process, which includes managing a financial analysis of the prospect’s income and assets.
· Manage the community fee and contract signing appointments.
· Manage the moving process.
· Manage sales event planning and execution.
· Manage collection of first month rent upon admission.
· Manage the integrity of our customer relationship management database information and reports.
· Attends conferences, seminars, webinars, etc. to maintain professional credentials.
· Reports directly to the Assisted Living Administrator.
· Other duties as assigned.
