The Role:
We’re looking for temporary, seasonal help in our frame prep department to support us in the framing process by preparing and staging mat and frame components during our peak season. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, passionate about accuracy, and comfortable working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures that all materials are clean, defect-free, and accurately organized for downstream assembly throughout the graduating season.
This is currently a temporary role lasting 60 days. However, there may be potential to either extend the temporary assignment or convert to a permanent position in the event the temporary employee demonstrates outstanding reliability, accuracy, and productivity, as well as if the business determines additional headcount is needed in this area after the conclusion of the temporary assignment.
What You’ll Do:
- Retrieve, inspect, and organize mat components and prep materials based on size, color, and order specifications.
- Verify materials against work orders to ensure accuracy and quality, checking for defects such as scratches, chips, or incorrect dimensions.
- Label and stage prepped materials in designated areas for use by assembly personnel.
- Collaborate with cutting, finishing, and assembly teams to clarify job requirements or address discrepancies.
- Track and report material usage, shortages, or quality issues to the Prep Lead.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
- Follow all safety protocols related to equipment, tools, and material handling.
- Support production goals by maintaining efficient prep flow and minimizing downtime.
- Follow all standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:Physical Qualifications: Due to the nature of the work, this position requires the following:
- Regular standing, walking, bending, and reaching with hands and arms
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, operating tools, or using machinery
- Must be able to lift or move up to 25 pounds as needed
- Visual acuity required for detailed inspection and screen-based work
- Must be able to see, hear, and respond to safety signals and equipment sounds
- Verbal communication is required for meetings, team coordination, and safety protocols
- Work is performed in a warehouse or production environment with exposure to dust, loud noises, and occasional chemical substances
- Primarily an indoor role, with environmental conditions typical of a manufacturing or distribution setting
