Job Title: Healthcare Advisory Team Sales Manager

Department: Healthcare Advisory Team

Reports to: CFO

Classification: Regular, Full-Time, Salaried, Exempt

Work location: Hybrid

Starting Salary Range: $57,921 - $68,143

 

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the management of the complete sales process in generating new clients, maintaining existing client relationships and conducting enrollments to meet goals and objectives.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee sales and enrollments along with the sales staff.
  • Develop staff and develop training processes in all aspects of customer service and sales.
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to increase enrollment in the MEMPHIS Plan.
  • Collaborate with communications and outreach teams to design campaigns and materials that support sales goals.
  • Generate prospects, schedule appointments, make presentations and accurately complete enrollments to meet monthly sales quota. 
  • Prepare weekly reports summarizing all activities. Track, analyze, and report on sales metrics during revenue cycle review.
  • Maintain relationships with new and existing clients, continually striving to increase the number of enrollees for each client. Schedule and conduct enrollment sessions for client’s employees.
  • Develop and promote relationships with various professional, community, social service, and industry related organizations to create continued awareness of Church Health HAT. Promote use of the MEMPHIS Plan, and enrollment in other eligible programs. Help individuals increase their health literacy. Represent HAT as a speaker at events.
  • Train employer after initial enrollment for client-conducted enrollments. Assess the eligibility of employees for all applicable programs and submit complete, accurate, applications to the appropriate program within the monthly deadline.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to develop leads, close sales, and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Familiarity with the Affordable Care Act, Medicaid, Medicare and potential changes to health policy.
  • Ability to train and provide instruction to others.  
  • Ability to communicate effectively both oral/written with a broad base of stakeholders.
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish trust and maintain partnerships.
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to solve problems, work independently with minimal supervision, and exercise independent judgement.
  • Moderate level of desktop computer skills to include the O365 productivity software suite. Sales Force experience a plus.


Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree is required with a concentration in Business, Marketing, or Finance preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience.


Work Environment and Physical Demands:

Work is frequently active in nature and requires the ability to frequently move around a large workspace on multiple floors. This role requires frequent travel. Requires some amount of computer work and hand dexterity and the ability to lift up to 10 lbs. on a regular basis.
