Responsible for performing various housekeeping and ancillary functions for the plant.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (*denotes essential job functions):
Performs housekeeping or janitorial duties to include sweeping, shoveling, and cleaning of departments and RBC floors of baking soda or other residue including loading docks and pertinent outside areas.
Manually and accurately builds display pallets of products to customer specifications.
Trains for other department's positions to become qualified to fill-in for short and long-term absences.
Performs numerous non-routine duties as assigned.
This position may be required to work assigned and/or mandatory overtime based on operational needs and adequate staffing levels specific to their department and the essential functions of their position.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
3 years industrial experience required.
PREFERED EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Six months industrial and forklift experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Advanced reasoning ability, math ability and language ability is required.
Work any shift during the week as well as weekends.
Use safe operating procedures and judgement.
Forklift operation.
Follow all facility rules to maintain quality and integrity of both raw materials and finished products.
Lift 50 pounds consistently.
REQUIRED TRAINING:
OSHA Safety Training
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Must be able to work and be comfortable in an industrial environment and chemical processing facility.
Must possess the ability to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment.
Must possess the ability to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions.
Regularly required to sit or stand and move about the facility.
