Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among preschoolers.
- Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining a positive atmosphere through behavior management techniques.
- Support children with special education needs and early intervention strategies to promote inclusive learning experiences.
- Assess student progress regularly using standardized testing methods and provide tailored tutoring or additional support as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's development, milestones, and any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with preschool-aged children in daycare or private school settings is essential.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management strategies, and behavior management techniques.
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education programs such as Montessori or other early childhood methodologies.
- Familiarity with working with children who have special needs or require early intervention services is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and caregivers.
- Background in early childhood education certifications or relevant coursework is preferred; experience with toddler care and teaching physical education is a plus.
