Chula Vista Entertainment Complex (CVEC) is a brand-new, multi-phase entertainment facility launching in the Chula Vista area of San Diego. Built to support the future of film, television, live events, music, and digital media, CVEC is designed as a hub for creatives, storytellers, and innovators working in a rapidly evolving industry.

We’re looking for a Content Producer / Creative Lead to own and lead content creation for the CVEC brand.

This role is ideal for a well-rounded creative who can ideate, produce, and execute high-quality content that speaks directly to today’s entertainment industry.

You’ll work closely with the CEO and C-suite leadership, helping shape the voice and narrative of CVEC through content that explores:

• The modern entertainment industry
• How creatives can thrive in today’s landscape
• Industry trends (AI, virtual production, new business models, etc.)
• Behind-the-scenes looks at building a next-generation entertainment facility

This position starts as a contractor role with the clear intent to transition into a full-time salaried position as CVEC continues to scale.

• Lead content ideation and strategy for the CVEC brand
• Produce short-form and long-form content across social, digital, and web platforms
• Handle or oversee production from concept through post-production
• Collaborate directly with the CEO and executive team on thought-leadership content
• Edit and deliver polished, on-brand video content
• Stay current on entertainment and creator-economy trends and translate them into compelling content

• Strong, well-rounded skill set across content ideation, production, and post-production
• Experience creating content for entertainment, media, or creative brands
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, startup-style environment
• On-camera presence is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work independently and take creative ownership
• Passion for the entertainment industry and the future of creative work

• Must be local to San Diego, CA or willing to work locally
• No relocation budget available
