Under general supervision, keeps an assigned building space or facility complex clean, sanitary, safe, secure, and orderly; maintains areas and grounds outside of a school or district building; performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS • Thorough knowledge of methods, materials, safety practices and equipment used in janitorial work. • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions. • Maintain a schedule for periodic cleaning of assigned facilities. • Observe and report needs for maintenance. • Ability to perform without immediate supervision. • Graduation from high school or equivalent. • Current Resume for both internal and external applicants. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Enjoys working in environment with children. • Willingness to work as part of a team to provide a safe and orderly learning environment for the students. • Shows initiative. • Ability to work well with staff, parents, and students.
