Accounting/HR Administrator
Chukar Cherries is a family-owned food and gift manufacturing company based in Prosser, WA for over 35 years. We are looking for an Accounting Administrator to maintain and improve our accounting and HR departments. This position is responsible for maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, payroll, and tax reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Manages all aspects of accounting; billing, financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, and various special analyses
- Review and reconcile ledgers, statements, journal entries, and balance sheets for accuracy
- Maintain accounts by recording, identifying and verifying financial transactions
- Cash Management functions including posting and reconciliation of transactions and statements.
- Payroll processing and reconciliation
- Ensure timely and accurate financial data and preparation of financial reports including monthly and year end close
- Ensure that all policies and controls are intact to support operations.
- Contribute to team by assisting with other projects as needed.
