This is a full-time on-site role for an Information Systems Security Officer located in Fort Greely, AK. The Information Systems Security Officer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures for information systems to ensure compliance with government regulations and policies. Daily tasks include monitoring security systems, conducting risk assessments, managing incident responses, and drafting security documentation. The role also requires collaboration with IT and security teams to enhance system security and ensure operational integrity.
- Information Systems Security, Risk Assessments, and Incident Response skills
- Proficiency in Security Policies, Compliance, and Regulatory Standards
- Experience with Monitoring Security Systems and Managing Security Documentation
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Security are a plus
- Experience working in government contracting or military environments is beneficial
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances
