Responsibilities
Essential Job Duties:
- Lead end-to-end accounts payable operations including invoice processing and payments.
- Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and DCAA requirements.
- Review invoices for proper project and contract cost coding/allocation.
- Oversee invoice review and payment in accordance with contract terms.
- Maintain strong internal controls and documentation to support audits.
- Establish KPIs and monitor AP performance metrics and workflows.
- Assist with DCAA audits, financial audits, and other reviews as needed.
- Manage vendor onboarding and maintenance, including W-9 and compliance documentation.
- Support month-end close activities, including AP accruals and reconciliations.
- Develop and manage AP team.
Mandatory:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 6-10 years of accounts payable or accounting experience.
- 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in a government contracting (GovCon) environment.
- Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and DCAA compliance.
- ERP system experience (Oracle, Deltek Costpoint, Unanet, etc.).
- Strong Excel and financial systems proficiency.
- Customer service focus and mindset.
