What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Technician/Mechanic position at Chuck's Chevron & Service?
Chucks Service center is searching for a skilled automotive technician to join our team. We have been well established in the area since 1939 and have been family owned and operated since day one. You will be working in a professional environment with multiple bays and lifts. We specialize in medium duty trucks and motor homes (chassis only, no interior work) Looking for a qualified mechanic to be available to work 5 days per week.
*Perform automotive repairs to cars, trucks, suvs and motor homes (chassis side only)
*Medium duty experience a plus but not required (willing to train)
*Experience in working in a shop environment.
*Ability to perform flow chart diagnostics and perform repairs
*Ability to extract/drill broken studs/bolts ect.
*Basic welding skills
*Have your own tools
*Knowledge of automotive related terms and ability to work with a team.
*Reliable and trustworthy
*Insurable drivers license
*Automotive certifications a plus
*Teachable
*Work in a team environment
