Assistant Game Technician

Assistant the Technical Manager who is responsible for electronics and the mechanical aspects of the restaurant including on-the-floor repairs/maintenance. (This is not a bench repair environment.) This includes our video games, skill games, kiddie rides, sky tubes, robotic shows, register systems, and kitchen equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Electronics and/or mechanical degree/certificate a plus ( )
• Must have mechanical and/or electronics knowledge
• Handy with electronic repair, troubleshooting, and power tools (electronic meters, soldering iron, etc.)
• Excellent people skills
• Excellent Organization and time management skills
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Ability to listen, see, speak, read, and write
• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, reach, push, pull, walk, and squat
• Must have reliable transportation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Shows Guests how to play games

· Assists Guests with game or play card problems

· Trains and develops Game Room Attendants, and other Cast Members

· Maintains constant communication with store management and Technical Manager

· Contributes to CEC’s hospitality by smiling and making eye contact with Guests, using self introductions, and checking back with Guests to ensure everything is great.

· Resolves Guest problems and/or complaints by determining optimal solutions.

· Reports any employee relations issues to the General Manager, District Manager/Area Director, and/or Human Resources.

· Reports Guest incidents and employee injuries immediately to the Risk Management Incident Hotline.

· Proactively plans for the next business day. Communicates with the General Manager regarding game room staffing needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
