Key Responsibilities:
- Follow initiatives to enhance quality, cleanliness, safety, and productivity while reducing costs.
- Gain expertise in operating equipment through hands-on training.
- Collaborate with the QC lab and R&D teams.
- Build production batches and maintain accurate batch paperwork.
- Load and unload chemicals, operate pumps and filters, and monitor temperatures and run speeds.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and submit repair work orders.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area, following 6S principles.
- Work together with your team to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-3 years of related operator experience preferred.
- Forklift certification required (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work independently on daily tasks.
- Familiarity with ERP solutions (e.g., SAP, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics) preferred.
