Responsible for planning, organizing, developing and directing the wound, ostomy and continence program(s) for Skilled Nursing Services in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations, the organization’s established guidelines, and as may be directed by the Senior Vice President of Clinical Practice.

- Plans, organizes and directs wound, ostomy and continence services that meet patient and skilled nursing center needs and coordinates such services with the skilled nursing center’s Director of Nursing Services.
- Develops and directs the implementation of wound, ostomy and continence program procedural guidelines.
- Develops and participates in the planning, scheduling and conducting of timely education that provides instruction that supports the goal of well-educated treatment nurses.
- Develops, implements and maintains an effective orientation program for newly hired treatment nurses that provides knowledge, expectations and confidence to be successful.
- Provides leadership and guidance to regional wound, ostomy and continence service nurses.
- Performs other duties as necessary to ensure the success of the System.
- Registered Nurse licensure in Georgia or compact state and certified in Wound Care Ostomy (WOCN)
- Minimum two (2) years experience as an Enterostomal Therapy Nurse in a hospital, skilled nursing center or other related medical center.
- Demonstrated competence in the performance of wound care assessment and consulting.
