What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Tech position at CHS Solutions?
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support a CHS client by ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained residential environment. This role is responsible for routine and preventative maintenance, responding to service requests, and delivering high-quality, resident-focused service across building systems.
We have an opening in Plum location and an opening in Robinson location
Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday, daylight-*rotational on-call
Pay: $21-23/hour, depending on experience

What You’ll Do:Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues effectively
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems
Complete repairs such as leaks, fixture replacements, electrical components, drywall patching, and painting
Conduct property inspections, including move-in/move-out assessments and routine safety checks
Maintain grounds, including landscaping, snow removal, and general upkeep of outdoor areas
Assist with apartment turnovers, ensuring units are ready within required timeframes
Document maintenance work and maintain accurate records
Participate in on-call rotation to address emergency maintenance needs
Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience, or relevant trade experience/training (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or carpentry)
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and complete general maintenance tasks independently
Basic computer skills (email, work order systems, etc.)
Valid PA Driver’s License and reliable transportation
Ability to be on-call and respond to emergencies within required timeframe
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (up to 100 lbs with assistance)
