Responsibilities
Leadership & Staff Development
- Supervise and support Mentors and Shift Leads.
- Conduct weekly team meetings and ongoing training sessions.
- Provide regular performance evaluations and disciplinary guidance as needed.
- Collaborate with HR and the Program Director during the hiring process; make final hiring decisions.
- Delegate responsibilities and ensure smooth shift transitions.
- Ensure the residential calendar is executed effectively.
- Maintain a clean, well-decorated, and welcoming living space.
- Monitor student progress and wellbeing during residential hours.
- Implement treatment team directives and therapeutic strategies in the home.
- Lead and document quarterly safety drills; ensure compliance across shifts.
- Attend and represent your house in weekly interdisciplinary Treatment Team meetings.
- Conduct thorough shift-change meetings and communicate key updates to incoming staff.
- Partner with clinical, academic, and program staff to ensure consistency in student care.
- 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D required; associates or bachelor's in human services, psychology, criminal justice, or related field a plus, but not a requirement!
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen in concordance with Montana state laws
- Ability to pass federal and state background checks
- Current Montana driver's license or ability to obtain a Montana driver’s license upon hire
- Ability to perform CPR and First Aid
- Ability to apply provided training in safe verbal de-escalation and physical intervention with an upset or combative client
- Preferred - one year of experience working with adolescent populations and management experience
- Ability to plan, implement, and adjust to program or daily adjustments
