CHRYSALIS RECOVERY CENTER LLC
JOB OPENING
Intake Coordinator / Case Manager
IDCMP Program | Part-Time or Full-Time | 20–40 Hours/Week
About Chrysalis Recovery Center
Chrysalis Recovery Center LLC is a New Hampshire-based outpatient behavioral health provider offering a full continuum of counseling, substance abuse treatment, and court-ordered services. We are proud to be one of only eight state-designated Impaired Driver Care Management Programs (IDCMPs) in New Hampshire, working in direct partnership with the NH Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Services (BDAS). Our team is dedicated to guiding clients through recovery with compassion, accountability, and evidence-based care.
Position Overview
The Intake Coordinator / Case Manager is a vital client-facing role and the first point of substantive contact for individuals entering our IDCMP program. This person conducts the formal intake appointment, reviews all required documentation, administers validated screening and assessment tools, and clearly explains the laws, rules, and expectations governing the program. Beyond intake, this role transitions into ongoing case management — supporting clients as they progress through their program requirements, connecting them with resources, and helping remove barriers to compliance and recovery.
This position is flexible and may be filled on a part-time (20 hours/week) or full-time (40 hours/week) basis, based on candidate preference and operational need.
Key Responsibilities
Intake & Onboarding
- Conduct scheduled intake appointments with new IDCMP clients
- Review and verify all required client documents (court orders, referral paperwork, prior treatment records, etc.)
- Administer validated screening and assessment tools (e.g., AUDIT, DAST, ASI) and accurately score and document results
- Clearly explain IDCMP program rules, NH laws, client rights and responsibilities, and program expectations
- Schedule clients for required classes, evaluations, and follow-up appointments
- Assist clients in obtaining any outstanding documentation needed to complete the intake process
Case Management & Ongoing Support
- Serve as an ongoing point of contact and case manager for assigned IDCMP clients
- Monitor client compliance with program requirements and flag concerns to the clinical team
- Assist clients in connecting with community resources (housing, employment, transportation, peer support, etc.)
- Coordinate with clinical staff, court contacts, and referral sources as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in the electronic records system
- Respond to client inquiries and address barriers to program participation

- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency with electronic health records and standard office software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with individuals in various stages of recovery
Preferred
- Familiarity with New Hampshire's IDCMP program, DWI laws, or drug court systems
- Experience administering substance use screening tools (AUDIT, DAST, ASI, etc.)
- Lived experience in recovery is welcomed and valued
