Need two Fitters and/or Fabricators needed to work in Grantsville, MD.
******Travelers welcome as per diem is offered. ********* $125/day worked
Duration: 2 months
Must be able to pass a drug screen

Pay: $30-35
Per Diem: $125 Days Worked
********PLEASE NOTE:
You will start on Day shift 6AM-4:30PM for 2 weeks once comfortable, moving them to 2nd shift 4:30-2:30 AM, paying for their lunch.
The general role of the Fitter Fabricator – Fabrication & Machining is to effectively and accurately utilize various metal fabricating and welding techniques to assemble metal components as specified by blueprints, work orders, and oral instructions. This is considered a skilled position that requires knowledge of various methods of gas metal welding as well as knowledge of various plates, sheets, and structural shapes in steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and galvanized metals. This position also requires a strong skillset for reading and interpreting blueprints, dimensioning, welding symbols, etc. The various types of welding includes: GMAW, GTAW, SAW, SMAW. This position has tiered levels based upon the complexity of assignments and certifications held.
There are two levels of Fitter Fabricators:
- Fitter Fabricator I – Holds a variety of welding certifications and is able to fit and fabricate basic to moderately complex jobs.
- Fitter Fabricator II – Qualified as a Welder III, is able to fit and fabricate complex jobs, and performs in a leadership capacity with an assigned welder(s).
This individual will have a thorough understanding of all aspects of industrial fabrication and must be proficient with the products and services offered by the company and must be flexible and willing to work extended hours, 2nd Shift and Saturdays as needed.
The Fitter Fabricator will report to the Fabrication & Welding Supervisor or Fab & Welding Crew Lead – Fabrication & Machining and will work primarily out of the Grantsville location.
