Key Responsibilities
- Business Leadership & Financial Management
- Own P&L accountability for projects tied to the Headway Environmental Arizona PMO, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
- Establish short- and long-term business objectives aligned with company goals.
- Monitor project budgets, revenue forecasts, and operational efficiency.
- Business Development & Client Growth
- Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new client relationships in the Arizona market.
- Leverage existing on-call contracts and renewable energy relationships to expand service offerings.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans that position Headway as a market leader.
- Represent Headway Environmental at conferences, industry events, and client meetings.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Build, mentor, and lead a team of environmental specialists and project managers.
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture rooted in innovation and accountability.
- Recruit top talent to grow technical capabilities and deliver exceptional client service.
- Provide coaching, training, and career development support to ensure employee retention and growth.
- Project Oversight & Operational Excellence
- Oversee project execution, ensuring technical excellence, on-time delivery, and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate across departments and offices to share resources and expertise.
- Implement operational best practices to maximize efficiency and minimize risk.
- Revenue growth and profitability of Headway's Arizona PMO.
- Expansion of the regional client base and service portfolio.

- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, ecology, environmental engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 8 years of consulting experience with increasing responsibilities in business operations and client management.
- 5 years of leadership experience managing professional teams.
- Proven track record of business development success and driving revenue growth.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships across multiple sectors.
- Experience leading regional P&L operations within an environmental consulting or engineering firm.
- Established network of clients in Arizona and the broader Southwest region.
- Strong understanding of environmental permitting, ecological restoration, and renewable energy markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
