As a Repair Technician at Chromebookparts.com, you’ll play a key role in giving devices a second life. Your work focuses on diagnosing, disassembling, and repairing Chromebooks/tablets and other electronics to repair devices on behalf of our customers. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, learning how things work, and contributing to a fast-paced, collaborative environment where both teamwork and individual work are valued.

Repair Technician
We are seeking a Repair Technician who has superior problem-solving skills, expert technical talent and teaching ability. If you desire to be a part of a successful, positive and entrepreneurial organization, this is the place to be!

Tasks may include:

• Performing diagnostic testing, troubleshooting, disassembly, and reassembly of Chromebooks and various mobile devices
• Learning the components and construction of a variety of electronic devices
• Logging work performed in a detailed and technical format
• Tracking stock of parts used for repairs
• Pick parts
• Assist with development of new processes
• Refurbish devices
• Assemble, break/fix devices
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Demonstrates attention to detail
• Has aptitude for using fine motor skills

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be able to shift priorities quickly
• Like to work independently, but appreciates being on a team
• Understanding of the basic functions of computer components and how they relate

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience with repair, disassembly, or assembly of computers or electronic devices (Preferred)
• Excellent communication and team working skills
• Ability to lift 30lbs
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
