About the Role
We are seeking a Product Compliance Specialist to support our global regulatory and product compliance initiatives. This role ensures that our products meet all applicable national and international requirements, contributing to both pre- and post-market compliance activities. The ideal candidate will collaborate across functions and engage with regulatory authorities to uphold the highest standards in chemical regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives related to product compliance and regulatory strategy.
- Monitor global regulatory updates and implement strategic responses to ensure compliance.
- Maintain and update compliance policies, procedures, and documentation in line with evolving regulations.
- Coordinate Restricted Substance List (RSL) testing, product labeling reviews, and other compliance verification activities.
- Ensure alignment with global chemical regulations, including REACH, RoHS, Conflict Minerals, and other relevant standards.
- Collect, validate, analyze, and manage compliance-related data for global reporting, including sustainability and ESG obligations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to define data ownership, improve accuracy, and resolve compliance data issues.
- Prepare accurate, auditable reports for internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Author Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) in compliance with domestic and international regulations.
- Conduct chemical hazard assessments for substances and mixtures under GHS and country-specific classification rules.
- Track regulatory changes impacting chemical classification and update SDSs accordingly.
- Maintain documentation supporting hazard classifications, exemptions, and regulatory decisions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related technical field.
- 3 years of experience in chemical regulatory compliance.
- Minimum 3 years of SDS authoring experience.
- Strong knowledge of GHS and global chemical regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Demonstrated business acumen, customer focus, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal and influence skills, capable of working effectively across teams.
- Awareness of emerging regulatory trends and industry developments.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Regularly required to talk or hear; occasionally sit, reach, and use hands.
- Frequently stand and walk; occasionally lift up to 55 lbs and move product manually.
- Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Ability to travel (~5%).
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
