As a member of the HR Shared Services Team, the HR Operations Specialist – Payroll role is responsible for supporting the Payroll department in ensuring accurate data workflows, timely submissions, and supporting compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will handle data audits, timecard validation, and support complex multi-state and multi-shift pay processes while maintaining data integrity and compliance.
This position supports our US East sites is a hybrid role with occasional on-site presence at our facilities in any of the following locations: Palm Beach Gardens, FL; Tampa, FL; Newnan, GA; Windsor, CT; or Orangeburg, NY.
Key Responsibilities
Chromalloy participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain HR records and ensure data integrity within the HRIS system.
- Collaborate with Payroll to resolve data discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws and company policies.
- Support audits and reporting requirements related to payroll and compensation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Stay current on payroll regulations and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in HR operations with payroll responsibilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., Dayforce, Workday, Oracle).
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and tax compliance.
- High attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing.
- Familiarity with payroll reporting and analytics.
- Knowledge of FLSA, IRS regulations, and state-specific labor laws.
