We're hiring a 2nd shift Production Lead! (Hours: 2:00pm - 11:00pm)
Function
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
- Oversee all production employees to ensure that all schedules and metrics are met and maintain excellent employee relations.
- Inspect all production paperwork for accuracy.
- Initiate maintenance job tickets and communicate issues with maintenance manager.
- Oversee all new hire training to ensure that they are fully qualified to perform their duties.
- Assist the Production Supervisor in the day-to-day operation of the shift.
- Other duties as assigned or needed.
- Must have 5 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment or in a supervisory role.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (including but not limited to: lifting up to 55 lbs., and moving up to 300 lbs., climbing stairs and walking for long periods of time.)
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment for safety and environmental regulations.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
