Production Lead - 2nd Shift

We're hiring a 2nd shift Production Lead! (Hours: 2:00pm - 11:00pm)

Function

• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
• Oversee all production employees to ensure that all schedules and metrics are met and maintain excellent employee relations.
• Inspect all production paperwork for accuracy.
• Initiate maintenance job tickets and communicate issues with maintenance manager.
• Oversee all new hire training to ensure that they are fully qualified to perform their duties.
• Assist the Production Supervisor in the day-to-day operation of the shift.
• Other duties as assigned or needed.

• Must have 5 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment or in a supervisory role.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (including but not limited to: lifting up to 55 lbs., and moving up to 300 lbs., climbing stairs and walking for long periods of time.)
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment for safety and environmental regulations.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
