Duties
- Clear and reset tables promptly to prepare for new guests, ensuring a clean and inviting atmosphere.
- Maintain cleanliness of the salad bar area, including replenishing ingredients, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing displays to enhance visual appeal.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling salads, and preparing garnishes under the guidance of kitchen staff.
- Support food handling procedures by adhering to safety standards and proper hygiene practices during all tasks.
- Help with catering setups and event support as needed, ensuring timely and accurate presentation of food items.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow, address guest needs promptly, and uphold a positive dining experience.
- Perform routine cleaning duties in the dining area, kitchen, and storage spaces to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Strong cleaning skills with an eye for detail to ensure all areas meet health standards.
- Experience in bussing tables or supporting hospitality operations is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices.
