What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher position at Christy Park Montessori?
We are seeking several loving, patient, and creative preschool teachers to join our team! These individuals will help plan and implement age-appropriate activities for children. Pay is based on experience and education. Previous experience is preferred but not required. We offer competitive wages, paid holidays, and paid vacation. Hours will be discussed during interview.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
- Create a fun and safe learning environment
- Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
- Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
- Maintain the health and safety of all students
Qualifications:
- Must love children
- Be 18 years of age
- Ability to build rapport with children
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to pass a background screening
- Hepatitis A shot required to serve food
- Be reliable and able to work with others
- Available to work Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:00a.m. - 5:15p.m.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.15 - $14.00 per hour
