Christy Refractories - Operations Support Specialist
We are looking for a self-motivated, customer-focused Operations Support Specialist.
Christy Refractories is an innovative manufacturer and supplier of high-temperature industrial ceramics.
This position provides a high level of support to Christy's internal and external customers in manufacturing, construction, sales, and customer service.
We are looking for a top-level, highly motivated, and focused operations specialist to join our team.
This is a contract-to-hire position, while we complete an ERP implementation project, and is expected to last 12-18 months. There is an option to stay on long-term, depending on business needs at project completion and individual performance.
The position can include full benefits, such as medical, dental, 401k, and paid time off.
A typical schedule of 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., however, it is a salary, and some flexibility is expected.
What We Are Looking For:
- Tremendous customer focus and skills required and logistics experience preferred.
- Great communication skills- verbal and written.
- Top-level organizational skills and attention to detail are mandatory. (You know how important it is to follow through with commitments.)
- Self-Starter. You own your work and your success.
- Ability to prioritize and react with a sense of urgency.
- Computer skills, including all Microsoft Office Suite programs required, and ERP experience is a plus
- Patience. (Those we support may not always be right, but they need to feel they are.)
