Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using medical scheduling software
- Answer and route incoming phone calls, taking messages as needed
- Maintain and update accurate patient records and demographic information in the EMR system
- Coordinate patient flow between the front desk and clinical staff
- Handle medical billing inquiries and direct patients to appropriate resources
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare front desk setting preferred
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and medical scheduling software
- Knowledge of insurance verification and medical billing processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical administrative certification a plus
- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented team player.
