About the Role
As a RN, you will have the opportunity to build in-person patient relationships, work independently, and grow your career with supportive leadership. You will be responsible for:
- Initiating, developing, implementing, and revising plans of care in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Directly or indirectly supervising home health aides and licensed practical vocational nurses, providing instruction and assigning tasks according to state and federal regulations.
- Making initial and comprehensive nursing evaluation visits, ensuring patients meet eligibility and medical necessity guidelines, determining primary focus of care, and developing plans of care within state-specific guidelines.
You will also communicate relevant information timely and effectively with agency staff, including patient care issues, visit assignments, and schedule changes. Additionally, you will communicate with physicians, patients, and family members to ensure quality care and service excellence.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle.
