Duties
- Diagnose and repair various commercial retail equipment including ovens, fryers, grills, Meat saws, meat grinders, and more. Using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
- Install new appliances and ensure all systems are set up correctly according to manufacturer specifications
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams, mechanical schematics, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot issues effectively
- Conduct on-site inspections, testing electrical connections, components, and mechanical parts
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain repairs, provide maintenance advice, and ensure satisfaction
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inventory logs for all completed work
- Supply deliveries
- Warehouse shipping and receiving
- Cleaning and safety of warehouse
Qualifications
- We will be happy to train the correct candidate with hands on training
- Proven experience as a service technician specializing in appliance repair or equipment maintenance preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
- Hands-on experience electrical wiring, and appliance assembly
- Previous field service experience working with commercial cooking or meat department equipment preferred
- Valid driver's license with delivery driver experience using box trucks or similar vehicles preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform equipment repairs efficiently
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to electrical work, and mechanical repairs
