Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pizzas and other menu items to order, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
- Stretch, top, and bake pizzas according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Manage pizza oven temperatures and cooking times for optimal results
- Prep ingredients including sauces, toppings, and dough on a daily basis
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspace throughout each shift
- Collaborate with front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Monitor and rotate food inventory, minimizing waste and ensuring freshness
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a pizza cook, line cook, or in a similar restaurant kitchen role preferred
- Familiarity with pizza dough handling, stretching techniques, and oven operation
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
