SALES ASSOCIATE

Christopher’s Dodge Ram in Golden is seeking an Automotive Sales Consultant to join our sales team!

Previous dealership Automotive Sales Consultant experience is required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals;
• Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide in all units of measure;
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form;
• Ability to solve practical problems;
• Ability to use mobile applications
• Valid Colorado Driver’s License;
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background, driving, and drug);
• Must be at least nineteen years of age.
• Prior Automotive Sales Experience
• State of Colorado Auto Industry Salesperson License

Responsibilities:

• Sell and deliver a minimum number of vehicles per month;
• Write and complete sales orders and process paperwork in accordance with dealership policies;
• Communicate and follow-up effectively with customers and prospects in all manners of communication;
• Keep up-to-date on new products and services within the industry;
• Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot;
• Dress and behave in a professional manner at all times;
• Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses;
• Exhibit a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction;
• Attend training courses as requested by management;
• Know and understand the federal, state, and local laws, which govern retail automobile sales;
• Clean snow off vehicles when necessary;
• Other duties as required.

• Compensation:  $80,424 - $144,080 (annually (2024 range; wage is calculated based on commission sales volume achieved);

In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWA): Pay Range: $80,424 - $144,080 Commission (based on 2024 yearly totals). Position may offer the opportunity to earn additional/bonus compensation.
