JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Production Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Fresh Garlic Production
REPORTS TO: Vice President of Operations
FLSA: Exempt Salaried Employee (CA Administrative Exemption)
Position Summary
Fresh Garlic production team through enhanced communication and coordination of a variety of production-related activities, including review and management of reporting documents, data entry and distribution, & , and providing general in-person . Coordinates administrative office services such as general business activities, appointment-setting, records control and other administrative activities for Fresh Garlic Production. This position requires a candidate who will be comfortable working in both office setting and walking around an industrial facility. Interprets operating policies and procedures through critical thinking and analysis. Exercises independent judgment in the resolution of administrative problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Coordinates and implements general office services such as answering/returning phone calls, appointment-setting, records control, data entry and other administrative activities
· Electronic recording/tracking/filing of documents for record-keeping and reference by management related to daily production output/costs/performance
· Data management- enter, proof, and corroborate information as reported by production receiving team daily. Attention to detail and moderate math comprehension is required
· Analyzes unit operating practices such as record keeping systems, forms control, and create new systems or revise established procedures
· Interprets and communicates operating policies
· Coordinates collection and preparation of financial and operations reports
· Locates and compiles information. Formats reports, graphs, tables, records and other sources of information
· Assembles and categorizes facts and figures for written computation and calculations
· Communicate/translate critical documents & management instruction in English or Spanish
· Operates computer to access e-mail, electronic calendars, and other basic office support software
· Uses various software applications such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports, including visual representations of data
· Exercises administrative judgment. Assumes responsibility for decisions, consequences, and results impacting staff, costs, and/or quality of service within the functional area

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
· High School Diploma or GED (AA/AS or BA/BS Business Administration degree or equivalent work experience preferred)
· Three years of related experience. Additional education may be substituted for years of work experience
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.)
· Able to exchange non-routine information using tact and persuasion as appropriate.
· Strong oral and written communication skills (Bi-lingual/Spanish required)
· Strong Organizational, Analytical, and Time Management skills
· Human Resources experience preferred
