Position Summary
This position is responsible for performing daily cleaning tasks, which may include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness in the assigned areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Bathrooms to be cleaned in full after every break.
- Cleaning the Breakrooms and conference rooms.
- Wipe out microwaves, refrigerators, toasters, and coffee pots.
- Dust general areas and surfaces
- Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping all general areas.
- Cleaning the shop sink.
- Clean and disinfect all water coolers and eye wash stations.
- Clean and disinfect the time clock daily.
- Restock supplies as needed.
- Clean entrance door glass inside and out.
- Sweep entry way rug.
- Empty trash cans and replace liners.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Education, Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to the typical environment found in an office, as well as those found in a wood manufacturing facility, such as noise, dust, heat, cold, and finishing fumes and odors.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, climb, crouch, and reach. The employee may regularly lift or move items up to 50 pounds or heavier; use of proper material handling equipment is available.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm. Additional hours and overtime required, as necessary.
