What You’ll Do
- Serve as the onsite project representative
- On-site problem solving to provide the best solutions to the client
- Inspection duties
- Perform construction contract administration
- Develop probable construction cost estimates
- Attend client meetings (typically municipal clients)
- Supervise, review, and mentor staff members
- Other assignments as needed
What You Bring
- B.S. Engineering with 7 years of construction management
- Experience with Water Transmission Pipelines, including PCCP, Ductile Iron, and Steel
- P.E. License in Illinois preferred or on P.E. track
- IDOT Documentation of Contract Quantities Certification preferred, or ability to obtain within 12 months
- Excellent leadership and communication skills (written and oral)
- Working knowledge and experience with state and local regulations
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge and experience with CAD programs a plus, preferably MicroStation
