Job Summary
As a Cognitive Behavior Intervention Instructor, you will:
- Serve as a training instructor for the Cognitive Behavior Intervention Program (CBIP) within a Tennessee Department of Corrections (TDOC) facility.
- Deliver classroom instruction using CBIP curriculum materials provided by the Christopher A. Pugh II Center (CPC).
- Ensure all program content is taught in full compliance with CPC and TDOC policies and standards.
- Support a positive, structured learning environment that promotes personal growth, accountability, and skill development for program participants.
Qualifications
- Experience supervising or administering a training or educational program.
- Strong leadership abilities with a talent for motivating and inspiring individuals to achieve personal and organizational goals.
- Strategic thinker with sound judgment and the ability to make informed decisions aligned with program and organizational objectives.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom-management skills.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Degree must be from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
