Knoxville - Residential Sales Coordinator
Christmas Lumber Company is seeking a Residential Sales Coordinator for our Knoxville location, specializing in windows, doors, and other specialty building products. This role works closely with Project Managers, customers, and vendor partners to support the sales and ordering process while delivering exceptional customer service.
Position Summary
The Residential Sales Coordinator will support our Project Managers by assisting with window and door estimates, takeoffs, quotations, and order processing. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with window and door takeoffs, quotes, and order entry
- Prepare product quotations using manufacturer configurator tools
- Research and source custom product requests
- Coordinate and place orders with vendor partners
- Schedule deliveries and help ensure projects stay on track
- Assist walk-in customers and homeowners with window, door, and specialty product needs
- Provide support to the sales counter team as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams to expand product offerings and provide customers with a complete building envelope solution
Qualifications
- Knowledge of residential new construction and building materials
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks
- Proficient computer skills and ability to learn industry-specific software
- Enjoy working directly with customers in a sales and support environment
- Experience with windows, doors, millwork, or specialty building products is a plus

Position will be an hourly position with a monthly commission structure.
