Financial Aid Advisor"Bilingual Spanish is required"Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Financial Aid Advisor located in Times Square, NY. The Financial Aid Advisor will assist prospective and current students in navigating financial aid processes, including completion of financial aid applications, understanding Title IV regulations, and determining eligibility. The role involves providing customer service support, managing enrollment-related financial matters, and ensuring compliance with institutional, state, and federal financial aid policies. Additional tasks include maintaining accurate records of financial aid awards and working collaboratively with students, families, and other departments to support educational goals.Monday through Friday1 Saturday a month3 days from 9 AM to 5 PM2 days from 11 AM to 7 PMQualificationsFinance and Student Financial Aid skills, with an understanding of financial aid processes and calculationsCustomer Service and Enrollment Management skills to assist and support students and families effectivelyKnowledge of Title IV regulations and compliance requirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and time management abilitiesProficiency in using financial aid management systems, spreadsheets, and other relevant softwareRelevant experience in financial aid advising or a related field is preferredA bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Higher Education, or a related field is beneficialAbility to meet deadlines and goalsAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsTeam-player, attentive to detail, responsibleWillingness to learn school procedures and protocolsStrong Computer SkillsOur company is the pioneer in ethics education, having established the 1st esthetics school in the US in 1965, and we manufacture all-natural skin care products.
